Creative Writing Cut Day - 920 Words

It was a contagious silent, yet alarming sound ringing in her head. The feeling was tense and everyone felt an unknown-skip a beat. It was Cut Day’’... Today of all days I dont mean to make a big deal but it is my code day, I am now 14 coded years, not 14 human birth years. I wonder why? A desolate and revolting question I never forget to ask myself every year on this certain day that doesnt always come along. Why are some human and some different cant we all be the same or all different or all something so we are identified as imperative. Racing through my mind as I am still utterly confused. Silence... While its usually the opposite of the class sounds almost every other time of the year. But there are no laughs or giggles.†¦show more content†¦Diming are the lights....it’s dark the only thing to be seen is my coded arm that I havent put into the tablet for the test I am still not prepared for in my mind. More days are what everyone needs maybe we ar ent so different or so similar. Done. Is how my day should be but I’ve been gone since today started†¦ My mind is racing.....I have 732 question left and only 30 death minutes. Seconds felt like minutes, minutes felt like hours, hours felt like years. I had a 50% chance of the selectors to take me away by my will. My parents couldnt do anything about-not like they would if they could. I wish I could stop time and have me go faster have life go faster time slow down but yet go by like a flash quick, slow, controlled, a constant pattern. My tablet shuts down. I had 50 questions left...UGH I’m dizzy and the whole world...or at least what I think is the world is spinning but I try to keep clam without throwing up. Does everyone feel like this?
